BRANDONS IN FRANCE: AN ADVENTURE ABROAD

FAST FOOD:

Ok, so if you are ever in the south of France I think one of the last things that should be on your mind is, “ hmmmmm, where should I go to get the best fast food?” Although, if you are a struggling college student,who is afraid to spend money before his loans kick in then…… you STILL shouldn’t be looking for fast food in France. Fast food in France is very true to its name. In fact its probably the only thing in France that is really served fast. The place that we went too was even named QUICK. They try to get you in and out as fast as they can just like in America. Although ( and heres the tricky part) FAST FOOD IN FRANCE IS NOT CHEAP!!!! There are no dollar menus in France….there are no dollars, period, in France. The meal the I had, which consisted of a double cheeseburger (GIANT burger), fries and a coke, cost almost 7 Euro and in todays market that is more than $10! Notice also that when you eat your fries in Europe most people don’t use ketchup. Instead they use mayonnaise…which is more healthy I guess. Also don’t expect free refills on your drink….or ice for that matter. All in all I think that you are much better off sticking with a fresh baguette, some cheese and salami. The teenagers seem to be going gaga for this Western invention but I would advice them to stay away. Oh yeah, the food was cool kinda.
